Short+Sweet Yorkshire is a festival of ten minute plays held over August. Clare Lucy has written and is directing On the Edge for Heat 1.

A train platform. Two strangers. One conversation that changes everything. On The Edge begins with a chance encounter between an outspoken older woman and a younger stranger who keeps stepping dangerously close to the platform edge. What starts as a sharp exchange soon unfolds into a moving and thought-provoking conversation about loss, identity, and learning to accept that sometimes… the train you’re waiting for is never going to arrive.
